Which thermostat do you need?
This is the question people get wrong, and the wrong thermostat simply won't control your system.
- Central air / forced-air HVAC — the most common US setup. Low-voltage 24V wiring runs from your wall to a furnace or air handler. You want the 24V fan coil thermostat.
- Radiant floor heating — electric mats or warm-water pipes under the floor. Choose the 16A floor heating thermostat for electric mats, which draw more current than a standard thermostat can switch.
- Gas boiler or hydronic radiators — our battery-powered boiler thermostat mounts anywhere with no wiring.
